Louie Louie, oh no Me gotta go...
Just when I think I'm over Louis--a new design lures me in and I'm head over heels in love again. Louis Vuitton has released the never-full collection of bags. The bags are available in three sizes large, larger and largest and they're priced $575-$665, but I assure you the price will go up as Vuitton bags do every season. Why do I want this bag, no lustfully long for this bag? It can hold up to 231 pounds, which means it could hold me. Then there's the shiny brass hardware,
signature yellow topstitching and red edge dyeing and oh those leather drawstring ties on each side. I'm absolutely loving how practical this bag is, but at the same time, it's a car payment. The only downside to this delicious gem is that it has no zipper, which means stuff could fall out or even worse, you could get robbed. This brings me back to the fall of 2002 when Gap released these open-top, snap closure sherpa-inspired bags. Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed carrying the bag all over Manhattan and she appeared in the ad campaigns that season. I of course ran out and bought the bag and shortly after that lost one of my favorite pairs of Gucci sunglasses. I'll never know if the glasses fell out of teh bag or if someone just stuck their hand inside while I was caught in the holiday shopping rush. I like to think the latter occurred. So that brings me back to my current dilemma. If I buy the never-full Louis bag, will I lose my favorite pair of Betsey Johnson sunglasses? As much as I hate to admit this, it could be worth the risk.
