Even I lost interest in knowing what Tomkat's baby looks like (and that's sad)

This is pathetic...

Tom Cruise's pal Jada Pinkett Smith has come forth to DESCRIBE what baby Suri Cruise looks like since her kooky 'rents refuse to debut the child to the world. Seriously, no one gives a crap anymore about Tomkat and their offspring. He's a control freak and his spokesperson insists when they decide to introduce their daughter to the world, "it will be at their discretion and not anybody else's." Cruise probably thinks he's being slick and powerful by keeping Suri away from the paparazzi, but the truth is the longer he waits, the less we all care.

Suri hasn't been seen in public since her April 18 birth.

This is from a Yahoo! News story I read today:
"She's one of the sweetest babies I've ever met in my life," Pinkett Smith tells People magazine. "She's an absolute beauty and she's Daddy's little girl."

Pinkett Smith and her husband, Will Smith, have visited Suri twice, both times at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif., People reported on its Web site.

"She's the cutest little baby. She's got a head full of black, beautiful hair," the 34-year-old actress tells the magazine. "She's beautiful and they're very happy and they need to be left alone."

Earlier this month, Leah Remini, another Cruise actress/pal, said she had held Suri during a visit to the couple's home.

"She's a beaming baby. She looks like Tom and Katie, she's just beautiful," the 36-year-old actress, star of the CBS sitcom "The King of Queens," told the magazine. "There wasn't a second she was out of their arms except when I held her."

This is how I want to remember Diana...not in the car wreck that took her from us

Let Diana rest

During the evening of Aug. 31, 1997, I got home from a really bad date and turned on the TV only to discover that one of my idols lay dying in a Paris car wreck. I was sickened by the tragedy of Princess Diana's death. If she had survived the crash she would've been 45 years old on July 1. Sadly, on July 13, 2006 an Italian magazine "Chi" published photographs showing Diana in her "last moments" despite an unofficial blackout on such photographs being published. The shots were taken minutes after the accident and show the Princess slumped in the back seat while a paramedic attempted to fit an oxygen mask over her face. Di's sons Princes William and Harry have condemned the magazine for publishing a photo of their mother as she lay dying.

British newspapers, who are notorious for stalking and chasing public figures relentlessly have even refused to publish the picture, out of respect for their fallen princess.
In a statement, Princes William and Harry say they are upset that "such a low has been reached," adding they would take moves to protect her, as she had protected them.
They appealed to all forms of the media throughout the world to appreciate that publishing photographs like this one causes them great hurt.

It's moments like these where I'm ashamed to even work in the media. This is not journalism--this is pure disrespect. Every waking moment of Diana's life seems to have been captured on film and even nine years after her death, she's still in the headlines.

The Devil Wears Prada and Fendi and Michael Kors etc.

I was so excited to see The Devil Wears Prada on Monday night I nearly broke the heel off my Dior shoes running to the box office to get my ticket. I steered clear of the Muvico Palace in Boca Raton. I didn't even want to deal with the chaos at the place and opted to go my favorite little cinema in Deerfield. This is a must see for any fashionista.I especially loved the designer name dropping every few seconds in the film. Meryl Streep is terrific as an evil editrix. It's a wonderful cast along with the most fab wardrobe I've ever seen. I could've lived without seeing Streep's character wearing so much fur throughout the film, but the dead animal skins were a key part in demonstrating what a heartless character she really was.
