Do you remember when everyone was shouting my name, and I used my strength to rip my blouse?
It has been too long since my last blog entry. People have been asking me if went into the witness protection program. Nope, not this week. I am back from a much needed vacation. I was able to spend seven days pursing my lifelong dream of doing absolutely nothing. While I was resting, I caught Nacho Libre on opening night. It's a wonderful underdog story set in a Mexican orphanage. While it was written and directed by the creators of Napoleon Dynamite, don't go into the theater expecting a carbon copy of their previous work. Nacho Libre is unlike anything I've ever seen before. There is plenty of quotable dialogue from this movie that will likely end up on a T-shirt near you soon.
Here are some of my favorite lines:
Nacho: "I was wondering if you would like to join me in my quarters this night... for some toast?"
Nacho: "Chancho, when you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room... It's for fun. "
Nacho: "I ate some bugs, I ate some grass, I used my hand, To wipe my... tears."
